I have a passion for languages. After dabbling in Filipino, Russian, German, and American Sign Language, I moved to Mexico for what was to be a two-year mission experience, and began to study Spanish. 27 years later, home is still in Mexico and I have fallen deeply in love with its people, food, culture, and language. (I also continue be fascinated in other languages and have taken classes in Arabic and Classic Greek.)
There is nothing more exciting than helping people, who under normal circumstances would not be able to communicate, to understand one another, both through the written and spoken word.
My husband, Raul, and I have both worked extensively as interpreters from English to Spanish, as well as Spanish to English. We have also translated Bible studies in both languages, one of the most extensive being 3 courses for the World English Insitute.
Raul is currently is translating for the Keizer church of Christ, from English to Spanish.
