Kim Solis has been a missionary, Bible teacher and speaker for more than 30 years, sharing her passion for God and His Word with women in classes, seminars and conferences both in person and online in the US (Texas, Maryland, Oregon), Mexico, Venezuela, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador and Peru, in both English and Spanish.

Kim grew up an “Army brat”, born in California, moving around the US and Europe, before settling in Oregon in 1984.  She started college at the University of Oregon in 1989, went through the Adventures in Missions (AIM) program in Lubbock, Texas in 1991, and then graduated with her Liberal Studies degree in Cultural Psychology from Oregon State University in 2015.

In AIM, she went to Toluca, Mexico where she extended her time from 2 years to more than 30, after married Raul Solis in 1994.  In 2000, she was part of the first graduating class from the Latin American Bible Institute (a branch of Sunset International Bible Institute) in Toluca, Mexico.  She completed the Women’s Ministry program with her certificate in Biblical Greek.

Kim has worked with ILEB (Latin-American Institute of Biblical Studies) in the Women’s department and as a teacher since 2000 and as Online Administrator since 2013.  In 2023 she earned a second degree in Biblical Studies through Sunset International Bible Institute.

She was married to Raul for 30 years and they have 3 children. Raul passed away last May after a year and a half battle with pancreatic cancer.

Kim enjoys working in translation/interpretation and recently finished translating the book Divine Detour by Lori Wood into Spanish, to be published very soon.

Kim also loves to read, travel, study languages, experience different cultures (and food!), and is an aspiring writer and avid escape-room enthusiast.
